People dead from Melon
Health Officials issued a warning on Cantaloupe. Four people died from Listeria in New Mexico. Listeria is basically bacteria that is can be deadly. It came from the producing area of Colorado and is mostly blamed for this. The Disease Control and Prevention needed to step into action, after 15 cases were issued. The agency said this is the first Listeria outbreak in the United States that was linked to Cantaloupe. Cantaloupe is amazing but be careful on it because you don't want to die. Symptoms of Listeria are fever, muscle aches, diarrhea, headache, stiff neck, and confusion. If this happens when your pregnant it can cause miscarriages and still birth. It mostly came from the Rocky Ford Region. So they say to try to avoid Cantaloupe.
