Boa Constrictors
Boa Constrictors are one of the largest snakes in the world. The Boa is a non poisonous snake. Still it can be as deadly, what I mean when I say that is it constricts around its prey, which means to strangle it. Once they strangle it, its time to eat. They eat things like birds, lizards, frogs and small mammals. If they are bigger they eat bigger things like monkeys , pigs , and deer. One of the cool things about the Boa constrictor is its skin. Their skin has amazing patterns and designs, they come in many different shapes and sizes and colors. The shedding time is not exact. The more you feed it the shorter the shed cycles, and vise versa. Also what determines the snakes shedding is the temperature in which you have it in. The lower the temperature, the slower the metabolism of the snake, which means slower shedding. Adult Boas usually shed about 4 to 5 times a year.
